A brain·tist is a noun that I have made up to merge those professions I feel that are most representative in terms of defining who I am. I consider myself a “brain” scientist in cognitive neuroscience, an artist, and a graphical designer for the scientific content. All these three professions are not exclusive. In fact, they complement each other quite well!
Besides doing my PhD in Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) with the Multisensory Research Group (MRG) group at the Center for Brain and Cognition (CBC), I started my new creative project called “Braintist Designs, in which I design and illustrate some concepts from my research that are difficult to explain with words.
